I am fortunate enough to be able to get farm-fresh eggs on a weekly basis.
(Don't worry, I don't waste these delicious yolks -- I buy the huge 5 dozen pack of cheap eggs for egg whites) A guy I work with has chickens
(different breeds of chickens, that's why some of the eggs have a blue shell) and he feeds them a diet that boosts their Omega levels
(he even sent me a link to the feed he uses for them... no crap in these chickens' food!)
The eggs are so yummy. The yolks are BRIGHT orange, the whites are super healthy and shiny, and the shells are very thick. These are healthy chickens laying these eggs! If you're lucky enough to be able to pick up farm fresh eggs, I highly recommend it! It's worth the extra money.
